December Updates: Bulk cream and spot milk prices

25tBSC price still trending downwards with main range at £1.20kg to £1.30kg ex works with little benefit from export. Our premium sellers report £1.35kg to £1.40kg while prices next week look to go lower. Spot milk price ranging from 10ppl (distress levels) up to 19ppl (to buy). 

 

25tBSC prices have taken another step lower widening the price range with reports of anything from £1.08 kg to £1.30kg ex works. The outlook for prices over the next 3wks is not great and at some stage deals will be struck sub £1 kg level. Spot milk prices same as previous week. 

 

25tBSC price range in the run up to Xmas holiday period put at £1 to £1.15kg ex works with export returns lower (95pkg ex after costs). Spot milk is a distressed market and with milk continuing to be dumped price for what is sold ranging 5ppl to 10ppl. 🎄Merry Christmas everyone.
